MUDDY OR WET TRAIL CONDITIONS
Plan your route to avoid riding on wet or muddy trails. If you encounter snow or mud on the trail, ride through it, not around it.
BATHROOMS
Pit toilets are available at Hartman Rocks, the Judd Falls trailhead and a few other locations around Crested Butte, but the majority of trails do not have bathroom facilities. “Go before you go,” and learn how to properly dispose of waste if you have to answer nature’s call outdoors.

CRESTED BUTTE CAMPING CHANGES
In most areas of the Gunnison Valley, camping is only allowed in designated sites (sites marked with a sign). Plan several backup options in case your first campsite choice doesn’t work out. If possible, make reservations in advance. Check out our camping guide for more information.
